Die Steigerung der Produktionsraten am Standort Albany Safran Composites in Commercy (Maas) auf das Niveau vor der Covid-19-Pandemie wird von innovativen Projekten in der Wiederaufbereitung begleitet. Der Luftfahrtausrüstungshersteller Safran plant, im Zeitraum 2023–2027 vor Ort 6 Millionen Euro in die Erhöhung seiner Produktionskapazität für Rotorblätter und Lüftergehäuse für das Leap-Triebwerk, aber auch in die Reparatur von Verbundteilen zu investieren.
Die Fabrik, die der Tochtergesellschaft Safran Aéro Composite angegliedert ist, aber in Partnerschaft mit dem amerikanischen Spezialisten für Industrieweberei Albany International betrieben wird, wird parallel mit der Rekrutierung fortfahren. Bis 2027 sollen rund 100 Mitarbeiter die Belegschaft des Standortes vervollständigen, die derzeit 480 Personen umfasst.
