PARIS – Eine Gruppe von Gläubigern der Ukraine hat die Aussetzung der Schuldenrückzahlung des Landes bis 2027 verlängert, nachdem der Internationale Währungsfonds (IWF) beschlossen hat, Kiew ein vierjähriges Kreditpaket zu gewähren, gab das französische Finanzministerium heute bekannt.

Anfang dieser Woche hat der IWF mit Kiew eine Einigung über ein Kreditprogramm in Höhe von 15,6 Milliarden US-Dollar über vier Jahre erzielt. Das Paket soll die „laufende allmähliche wirtschaftliche Erholung“ unterstützen.
Eine Gruppe von Gläubigern hat in Anwesenheit von Vertretern des IWF und der Weltbank ein Treffen abgehalten, bei dem sie die Verlängerung des Moratoriums für die Rückzahlung der Schulden der Ukraine ab dem 1. August 2022 für die Laufzeit des IWF-Programms angekündigt haben 2027, so die Mitteilung des französischen Außenministeriums.
Die Gruppe forderte andere Gläubiger auf, mit der Ukraine eine Einigung über die Lösung des Schuldenproblems des Landes zu erzielen, berichtete “Sputnik”.
