In der Zwischenzeit stellte Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha im Raj Bhavan hier das dritte Maskottchen, den Titelsong und das Trikot der Winterspiele von Khelo India vor.
Er sagte: „Jeder Panchayat von J&K verfügt über Sportanlagen und das Ziel, 50.000 Jugendliche an sportlichen Aktivitäten zu beteiligen, wurde übertroffen. Durch eine neue Sportpolitik werden den Sportlern attraktive Karrieremöglichkeiten geboten.“
Die Winterspiele, bei denen neun Sportarten im Einsatz sein werden, sollen vom 10. bis 14. Februar stattfinden. Die erste Ausgabe der Khelo India Winter Games fand 2020 statt. Jammu und Kaschmir hatten damit beide Ausgaben der Winterspiele übertroffen weit.
