Die chinesischen Autoexporte nach Russland verdreifachten sich im gleichen Zeitraum auf 140.000, nachdem Russlands Invasion in der Ukraine im Februar 2022 dazu führte, dass sich alle westlichen globalen Autohersteller aus dem russischen Markt zurückzogen und chinesische Autohersteller die Lücke füllten.
Die weltweiten Exporte chinesischer Elektroautos haben sich auf 380.000 Einheiten nahezu verdoppelt. Infolgedessen machten Elektroautos im Zeitraum Januar bis März 2023 fast 40 % der Gesamtexporte Chinas aus.
Analysten gehen davon aus, dass China bis 2030 bis zu 5,5 Millionen Autos exportieren wird, davon 2,5 Millionen Elektroautos.
