Das Territorialkommando von Lissabon hat am Montag durch die Verkehrsabteilung von Torres Vedras und die Territorialabteilung von Mafra ein gestohlenes Fahrzeug in der Gemeinde Azambuja wiedergefunden.

Nach einer Beschwerde über den Diebstahl eines Fahrzeugs gelang es dem Militär der Torres Vedras Traffic Detachment, das Fahrzeug im Verkehr auf der A8 zu finden. Als der Fahrer die Anwesenheit des GNR bemerkte, floh er.

Mit der Unterstützung von Patrouillen der Mafra Territorial Detachment und Elementen des Mafra Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) wurde das Fahrzeug wenige Augenblicke später an einem abgelegenen Ort lokalisiert.

Im Zuge der Aktion wurde das Fahrzeug mit einem geschätzten Wert von 60.000 Euro sichergestellt und dem rechtmäßigen Eigentümer übergeben.

Die Tatsachen wurden dem Gericht von Sintra mitgeteilt.
